Osman Balci, professor of computer science at Virginia Tech, has been given the McLeod Founder's Award for Distinguished Service to the Profession by the Society for Modeling and Simulation International.
Lydia Ingrassia has been hired as assistant director of marketing, website and publications at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine Virginia Campus.
