Todd Marcum, president of Access Advertising & Public Relations, received the 2013 Marshall University Alumni Distinction Award for the W. Page Pitt School of Journalism and Mass Communications.
EDUCATION
Mahendra Singh, the Preston Wade Professor of Engineering Science and Mechanics at Virginia Tech, has received a two-year, extendable distinguished visiting professorship at the Indian Institute of Technology.
Michael Quillen and Doug Juanarena have been named 2013 inductees into Virginia Tech’s College of Engineering Academy of Engineering Excellence.
Ben Davenport Jr. and David Lowe have received a Virginia Tech Alumni Distinguished Service Award for 2013.
Jefferson College of Health Sciences announced the following staff changes: Warren Clark was named professor emeritus and Charles Moore was named assistant professor emeritus.
