Thomas Hou , professor of electrical and computer engineering at Virginia Tech, is the newly elected steering committee chairman of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers’ Conference on Computer Communications.

Donald Sipher has been promoted to chief operating officer of Froehling & Robertson Inc.

Wendy Hughes has been named office manager for McLeod Enterprises LLP.
