Megan Foust has been named center director for the Sylvan Learning Center of Christiansburg.
Jeffrey Reed, the Willis G. Worcester professor of electrical and computer engineering at Virginia Tech, is the recipient of the 2012 Forum International Achievement Award presented at the Wireless Innovation Forum.
Donna Wardell has been named director of alumni relations for the College of Science at Virginia Tech.
Gerald Luttrell, the E. Morgan Massey professor of mining and minerals engineering at Virginia Tech, is one of the 69 new members elected to the National Academy of Engineering.
Marie Zawistowksi and Keith Zawistowski, professors of practice in the School of Architecture and Design at Virginia Tech, have been recognized with a 2012-2013 Design Build Award from the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture.
Richard Sorensen, dean of the Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Tech, was honored with a joint resolution of commendation by the Virginia General Assembly.
