Salem retirement center opening new rehab facility, wellness complex

Richfield Retirement Community in Salem is opening a new rehab center.
The facility, which opens Sunday, will offer inpatient and outpatient care. It includes 48 rooms and is housed in an existing building on the Richfield campus.
According to a news release, the center will focus on people who need short-term physical rehabilitation after joint replacement, illness or injury that require s hospitalization.
An exercise and wellness center also will open in the same complex and will be open to Richfield residents and employees.
