Salem investigators have located a man and a young female teen who had been missing since Wednesday night.
 
The two were located shortly before noon in the 1700 block of Millbrook Street, according to police Lt. Mike Green.
 
Green said that, acting on leads, police found them near some horse stables, near the border of Salem and Roanoke, just over two miles from the 800 block of Elizabeth Street, where both subjects live.
 
The teenager, Tiffany Ann Traxel, 13, was not injured and will be released to her parents, according to Green.

Charles Bryant Edwards II, 22, has been arrested and charged with a felony of taking indecent liberties with a minor child under the age of 15, police said.

Family members of Traxel told police they last saw her running away from Edwards' residence with him about 5:15 p.m.

Salem police worked with Virginia State Police in their search as well as the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
