Salem police have taken out warrants against a man who they believe held up a bank on Monday.

Police are looking for Jason Bradley Davis, 29, according to a news release from the city. He is accused of robbing the BB&T bank in the 200 block of South College Avenue. His last known address was in Radford, but police believe he may now be transient.

Davis is charged with robbery and making a bomb threat because a note shown to the bank teller referred to an explosive device, the news release said.

Police are still investigating whether Monday's robbery is connected to a robbery last week at StellarOne Bank in the 1200 block of West Main Street.

Anyone with information about Davis' whereabouts is asked to call police at 375-3038 or 911.  Police said he should be considered armed and dangerous.
