U.S. 220 south in Daleville has reopened after a collision this morning between two vehicles and a Botetourt County school bus.

The wreck happened in front of the Kroger store near Tinker Mountain Drive, said school superintendent Tony Brads. There were 27 students on the bus, but no one was injured.

The bus was hit when a vehicle rear-ended another at a stoplight, Brads said. The rear-ended vehicle was then pushed under the bus. The driver of the rear-ended vehicle was injured, Brads said. It's not clear whether anyone else was injured.

The students, who were on their way to Lord Botetourt High School and Read Mountain Middle School, were transferred to another bus and taken to school, Brads said.
