One lane of U.S. 220 closed in Franklin County
A tractor-trailer
wreck that this afternoon closed the left southbound lane of U.S. 220 in Franklin County near
McNeil Mill Road, just south of Sydnorsville, has been cleared, the Virginia Department of
Transportation said.
VDOT reported the wreck cleared shortly after 6:30 p.m. Clean-up was initially expected to take three to four hours, said VDOT spokeswoman Heidi Coy.
