A wreck on Interstate 81 that blocked traffic in Botetourt County has been cleared, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

The wreck was reported between Buchanan and Troutville at mile marker 159 shortly before 10 a.m., VDOT said. The right southbound lane of I-81 was closed.

Motorists were advised to expect delays in that area, VDOT said.
