A truck crash that had blocked both southbound lanes of U.S. 220 in Roanoke County near the Franklin County line is now clear, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

Spokeswoman Heidi Coy said the wreck involved two tractor-trailers and occurred around 6 p.m. in the vicinity of Yellow Mountain Road.
