McCain, Palin to campaign Wednesday in Northern Virginia
ARLINGTON (AP) -- Republican presidential candidate John McCain is making a stop in Virginia this week with his running mate Alaska Governor Sarah Palin.
McCain's campaign says the pair will hold a campaign rally in Fairfax at Fairfax High School on Wednesday morning.
It is the first Virginia appearance since McCain and Palin accepted the official GOP nomination at the party's convention in Minnesota last week.
Tickets for the event are available through campaign offices throughout the state or on the campaign's state Web site, http://virginia.johnmccain.com.
McCain's rival, Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, is appearing at 5:15 Tuesday in Southwest Virginia's Russell County.
