Authorities in Franklin County have released photos of a woman they say robbed a bank in Boones Mill Thursday morning.

The woman was described as between 17 and 20 years old, between 110 and 130 pounds and about 5 feet, 2 inches tall, said Lt. Steve McGuire with the sheriff's office.

The woman was wearing a bandanna, brown square-rimmed sunglasses, a black-and-gray camouflage shirt that reached her thighs, and baggy pants, McGuire said. She was carrying a red leather bag with silver trim.

Authorities said she walked into the Carter Bank and Trust just before noon Thursday, quietly demanded money from a teller and told the teller not to attract any attention.

No one was hurt during the incident, and the woman fled with an undisclosed amount of money in a grey, silver or white four-door sedan, McGuire said.

Anyone with information is asked to call 483-3000.
