A wildfire burning near Buchanan grew overnight, according to a USDA Forest Service news release.
The Cove Creek Fire, now estimated to be 595 acres, was first reported Thursday.
Despite the growth, fire officials say "firefighters have made good progress toward containing the fire".
Over 65 people are working to fight the fire. A helicopter has also been used in the efforts, according to the release.
Officials hope to have the fire contained by July 11.
