An accident in Botetourt County has closed a portion of U.S. 220 (Roanoke Road), according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

The accident happened at U.S. 220's intersection with Virginia 674 (Greenfield Street) near Troutville, VDOT said.

The left lane is closed, according to VDOT.
