Advance Auto eliminates 31 Roanoke jobs
Of the 250 staff reductions the company announced Wednesday, most aren't in Roanoke and some positions were already vacant
Advance Auto Parts Inc. said that of the 250 jobs that that company has eliminated, as it announced on Wednesday, only 31 are in Roanoke.
The company also said that of the 250 positions trimmed, 75 were already vacant.
Advance Auto, a Fortune 500 company based in Roanoke, has 42,000 employees and stores in 40 states and Puerto Rico.
