Roanoke police responding to a disorder Saturday night in the parking lot of Valley View Mall arrived to find a girl had been stabbed, spokeswoman Aisha Johnson said.

The incident occurred about 9 p.m.

The victim, a female juvenile, was taken to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Her condition is unknown.

No arrests had been made by late Saturday evening, Johnson said, but the investigation is ongoing.
