Three people died in a single-vehicle wreck in Floyd County that occurred late Friday night.
Virginia State Police responded to the accident on the Christiansburg Turnpike about 5 miles from Floyd about midnight on Friday.
State Police Sgt. Jason Hypes said a 2011 silver Toyota RAV4 sport utility vehicle was coming around a curve on the turnpike when the driver ran off the road and struck two trees. He said two of the three occupants were ejected from the vehicle and none of them was wearing a seatbelt.
Rex Bentley, 52, of Riner, Robert Keith, 38, of Riner and Kenneth Keith II, 19, of Christiansburg were all killed, he said.
Hypes said the wreck is still under investigation.
