A man died in a single-vehicle wreck tonight in Roanoke County.
A few minutes after 6:30 p.m. a 1996 Honda Passport ran off the right side of Bradshaw Road heading south at the intersection of Hickory Hill Road, according to a release from the Roanoke County Police Department.
The car was driven by Michael Trail, 20, who died at the scene from injuries from the wreck. The release said after the car ran off the roadway, it appeared Trail lost control of the vehicle in the grass on the shoulder of the road, slid sideways and hit a tree.
The road was partially blocked from traffic for about three hours while the wreck was cleaned up. The release said alcohol or drugs were not a factor in the crash, but it was unknown if weather played a role.
