Electricity was restored to thousands of power customers Sunday, including those in parts of the Roanoke Valley and surrounding area that had been dark since Thursday's storm.

Franklin County, which had 2,569 customers dark on Saturday, had 100 remaining at 10:20 p.m. Sunday.
Roanoke County was down from 3,600 outages on Saturday to 1,063 at 10:20 p.m. Sunday.
The nearly 2,000 customers without power in Roanoke City, and 1,140 in Bedford County, were back on-line Sunday night, according to Appalachian's website.
Those numbers are down from Thursday, when 15,320 customers in Roanoke County and 17,755 customers in Roanoke were in the dark.
