Roanoke police have identified a juvenile suspect in a Tuesday morning shooting in the 400 block of Harrison Avenue.
Police spokeswoman Aisha Johnson said in a news release that officers were called to a residence at 1:49 a.m. Tuesday. They found 49-year-old Marcus Robinson of Roanoke on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound.
Robinson was taken to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Johnson said. Carilion spokesman Eric Earnhart said he could not provide information on Robinson's condition.
The incident remains under investigation. The release said a juvenile suspect has been identified but no charges have been placed.
