Police investigate weekend robbery
A man and a young boy told officers they were asleep when they heard loud noises in the house.

Roanoke police said three masked men with guns forced their way into a house in the 2500 block of Liberty Road Northwest to carry out a robbery Sunday.
Officers were at 3:33 a.m. called to the house , where they found a man and young boy. Police spokeswoman Aisha Johnson said the pair told officers they had been asleep when they were disturbed by loud noises.
Johnson did not release the identities of the man or the boy.
Police provided few details but said the masked intruders left the house, taking money and some unidentified items. No one was hurt, and officers have not made any arrests.
