A day after releasing a photo to the public for identification, Bedford County investigators have obtained warrants against a Bedford man in a larceny case.

Maj. Ricky Gardner said Friday that Michael Wayne Kidd, 43, has been charged with larceny, forgery and fraud in a case in which someone stole items from a church during a wedding.

Gardner has said two wallets and other personal items were taken from Faith Life Baptist Church in Montvale on Feb. 23. Authorities said credit and bank cards from those wallets were later used in Lynchburg, and Bedford and Campbell counties.

Authorities have not arrested Kidd and are seeking information about his whereabouts. Anyone with information is asked to call the Bedford County Sheriff's Office at 586-7827.
