Buchanan woman dies in I 81 crash

A 31-year-old Buchanan woman is dead after a Saturday night crash on Interstate 81.
A preliminary investigation shows that Priscilla Ann Steinmetz was traveling south in a 2004 Chevrolet Impala when she ran off the left side of the road and overturned in the median, according to a statement from the Virginia State Police.
The single-vehicle crash happened shortly before 8 p.m., according to the statement, at milepost 112 in Montgomery County. State police are continuing their investigation.
Steinmetz, who was wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene, the statement said.
