Democrats Sherman Lea, Anita Price and Court Rosen gathered with supporters at 202 Market in Downtown Roanoke to watch the election results and celebrate the outcomes. Nelson Harris, the Democrat incumbent for mayor, lost his contest to David Bowers. Lea, Price and Rosen will take their seats on council on July 1.
