However, I do feel that a requirement for resident status should be the ability to speak english. Life is too short to be driven by hatred for other people. I think if more people were happy with their own lives, the fact that they are sharing "Our country" with others, wouldn't bother them.
I know in the past I have stated my non-hatred stance on this issue and have been critized and personally persecuted for it. I f people feel like they must do so again, really don't bother, I am not going back and forthe anymore.

usa should enforce a law to shoot to kill when they catch them crossing the border and that. a mexican asked me one time if i speak spanish and my reply i dont need to speak spanish in my country, another law would be to enter the usa legally they would have to speak "english" since is the country language.
