Talk about area ordinances that tighten restrictions on advertising for summer yard sales. Do they violate property rights?

I can't believe that Radford Publc Authorities have nothing better to do with their time, other than put an oridance on the number of yard sales a person can have. I live in Radford & believe me Radford City Authories need to worry more about the enviroment of the city rather than who, when, & how many yard sales a person has in a summer.

Agree with Quincy.

Besides you can see on that post from the news people complaining saying that
it is their land, well read again.

Because one of the complains is "Putting
Signs OUTSIDE ( In Other places away )
their lands.

Sounds like the thing with spanish and Emmigrants, the word is NOT emmigrants
but "illegal aliens" but those
illegal aliens are using the word
Emmigrants, so they can use / point
or include others that have nothing to
do.

Oh well, final decision....
Agree with the Law, agree with Quincy

I do not mind the yard sales near as much as the yard sale SIGNS that these idiots post all over the place and leave for weeks.

When I first read about this, I was against the idea of restricting yard sales and making people get a permit to do them. But, after reading through why the City decided to do this, I agree with it. Anyone who cannot sell all of their unwanted stuff in 3 yard sales during the year either needs to set up a permanent spot at a flea market to sell the rest of it, or haul everything to Goodwill. Folks who do the "perpetual" yardsales are really just running a flea market from their home without going through the channels of opening a business, so I agree with this, even though I generally don't like government regulation on what folks can do in their own homes. This just makes sense because it affects their neighbors.
