We've waited 20+ years for 114 in Christiansburg to be widened, I guess another 20 isn't really that long. I just hope no one is killed on the race to the railroad track (where the road goes to one lane) in the meantime. This is sad considering when they built the 460 bypass, they put a pedestrian bridge up from a neighborhood with just a few houses to the frog pond and nobody has ever seen anybody on it. What a waste of taxpayers money. We have all the elected idiots people keep re-electing to thank for this whole transportation mess.

State should put in tolls in for more congested areas to solve transportation needs. A Usage tax. Don't tax the entire state for heavily traffic'd roads that we will never use.
