Roanoke County schools reduce fees
Roanoke County schools have scrapped almost all the fees charged to students next year after a legal aid group found that the county's charges were higher than anywhere else in the state.

Talk about charging fees to parents and students in the school system.

Seriously, I admire the woman who took up this issue. Even if the schools will now have to extort more money from the rest of us. A student's ability to learn should not be hampered by his parent's inability to shell out additional money for fees.
