Perito Moreno Glacier in Argentina covers 62,000 acres and is 18.6 miles long. The front wall is three miles wide, with an average height of 180 feet above the surface with a total depth of 556 feet. It was fascinating to observe the glacier calve, accompanied by loud noises.

The most striking feature of Easter Island is the stone statues. The latest estimate is that they were carved between 1200 and 1500. They weigh more than 30 tons. Chile controls Easter Island today, and visits to the island are strictly controlled to minimize the impact on the environment.
