A lineup of nationally recognized, jam-friendly acts will be hitting stages this weekend at the West Virginia event Camp Barefoot 7 Music & Arts Festival.
A handful of bands with Southwest Virginia ties are scheduled to perform, too.
String Cheese Incident keyboardist Kyle Hollingsworth is the scheduled headliner for Camp Barefoot, which runs Thursday-Saturday. Along with Hollingsworth will be epic slide guitarist Anders Osborne and The Motet Horns. The latter is scheduled to team up with the full Motet band for a set of Parliament-Funkadelic music.
Electronic acts such as EOTO, Conspirator and Brothers Past are on the lineup, as is looping master Keller Williams, who for this festival will team up with More Than A Little for some funky jams.
Roanoke bands Funk Punch and Urth will be performing, as will The Boatmen, whose frontman, Matt Mullins, lives in Snowville. The Shack Band, from Richmond via Blacksburg, is also on the bill.
