The joyous effect of spring unearths the spirits within us all that slumbered in the looming of winter.
Jaws that once cracked and clattered from frostbitten temperatures now widen with smiles and gleeful chanting of the white’s demise. Where in winter when our souls searched for warmth, we now have found it in spring with radiance.
It’s an annual cycle. During the winter, we seek our reflections from the ice on our windows and hot cocoa in hand.
Now, as the greens blossom and become viridian to our eyes, we find our reflections in the lakes in which we swim and the lemonade that quenches our drought.
Springtime has come, as the sun seeps through winter’s billows.
