Margaret Kardos Grant, 91, of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, May 31, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents; Steve and Julia Kardos, husband, Harold Grant; brothers, Steve and John Kardos; sisters, Julia Corse, Irene Childers and Gladys Thurman; and niece Angela Hughes.Margaret was a member of Roanoke Valley Baptist Temple.Surviving are her niece, Charlotte Taylor and husband, Jim; nephews, Johnny Kardos and wife, Joyce, Douglas Thurman and wife, Brenda, Jeff Thurman and wife, Diane; great nephews, Brent Thurman, Timothy Thurman and Steven Kardos; and great niece, Rebekah Thurman.The family would like to offer a special thanks to the staff at Our Lady of the Valley, and to Gentle Shepherd Hospice for their many acts of kindness and support. Taylor June Ingram LaRose, 29, of Roanoke passed away on Friday, May 29, 2015. Taylor was always " Daddy's Little Girl".She loved skydiving and her "babies", Ra, Cyrus and Calypso. She will be dearly missed by her family and many longtime friends.Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Alvin Lee and Patricia Ingram; husband, Jordan; sister, Ashley Dawn Hoven (Rob); niece, Abigail; grandparents, Russ and June Hart, Shirley Ingram, and Roger Ingram (Marie); aunt, Karen Munsey (Brian); uncle, Rick Hart; cousins, Nicole and Ben Munsey, Zachary Hart; numerous other family members and friends.Visitation will be held at Valley Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 3, 2015, from 4 to 7 p.m. A graveside service will be held in the Ingram Family Cemetery, Ferrum, VA. at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 4, 2015. Frances Williams Bevil, 84, of Salem, passed away Monday, June 1, 2015.She was born in Wytheville, a daughter of the late John C. and Bettie Shelburne Williams and had been an area resident most of her life. She was a 26 year, dedicated employee of Wal-Mart in Salem and enjoyed gardening, flowers, cooking and her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Ray J. Bevil, who died in 2005, and by two brothers, Clarence and Johnny Williams.She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Stevens; a son, Garry Bevil and wife Carol; four grandchildren, Kristen Bevil, Jason Bevil, Bettie Stevens and Jeffrey Stevens; a great-grandson, Christian Stevens; and four brothers, Samuel Williams and wife Naomi, Garnett Williams, Raymond Williams and wife Arlinda, and William Williams.A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Sherwood Memorial Park.
