Capps adds Hall to kitchen design department
Cindy Hall has joined the kitchen design department at Capps Home Building Center in Moneta.
Hall has extensive experience in interior design, lighting, flooring and cabinetry.
Bridges attends Weichert Management Academy
Bridges & Co. broker/owner Barry Bridges has returned from the Weichert Management Academy, a weeklong program held four times each year for new affiliates, those who want a refresher course and those who want to network with new franchisees.
Bridges, who is a longtime Weichert franchise broker/owner, is a two-time graduate of the course.
He made the repeat trip to the academy "to take advantage of the always-updated educational opportunity and meet new affiliates," he said.
Realtor Karin Brown has joined the sales team at Bridges & Co.
A native of Curacao, Brown has lived in Roanoke County for 13 years.
She will assist homebuyers and sellers in the Roanoke Valley.
With a background in EMS and physical therapy, Brown is a member of the Cave Spring Rescue Squad.
Her education includes physical therapy in The Netherlands and criminal justice at ECPI University.
Smith Mountain Lake restaurants making changes
Steak Night is moving to Wednesday for the winter at The Landing Restaurant.
The restaurant at Bernard's Landing will be open for dinner Wednesday through Saturday and closed Sunday through Tuesday during the off-season.
