Resurrection Catholic Church’s Wednesday Women’s Group will hold its 15th-annual craft bazaar at the parish’s Morrow Hall on Oct . 19 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
There will be a variety of craft projects, including three-season jackets, which start as ordinary sweatshirts before their transformation. Other crafts available will be hand -knitted baby blankets; directional fingers, which help guide visitors to your home; bird feeders; bath salts; dishcloths; dog treats; and wooden items created by parishioners Tom Dugan, Bob Adams and Chuck Chauvin.
There will be 45 vendors this year with both inside and outside booths displaying doll clothes, wreaths, jewelry, wooden bottle stoppers, crocheted items, metal work, framed butterflies and holiday items.
A bake sale will offer visitors treats such as preserves, cakes, cookies and breads. Always a highlight of the Resurrection Bazaar are the fresh, hot-from-the oven apple pies.
The raffle items this year are a quilted wall hanging made by Sandy Horan, a 16-piece place setting for four donated by Emerson Creek Pottery and a Pandora bracelet with a $50 gift certificate compliments of Haywood’s Jewelry.
Resurrection Catholic Church is located on Virginia 122 in Moneta, two miles north of Hales F ord Bridge.
