A horse and mule auction will be held April 19-20 at Spring Valley Farms, 1191 Horseshoe Bend Road, in Moneta.
The sale of horse-drawn farm equipment, buggies, wagons and carts will begin at 10 a.m. on April 19. Tack, harnesses and saddles will be auctioned at 5 p.m. that day.
On April 20 at noon, the horses and mules will be auctioned off.
The public will be able to view the animals on both days. They will be in the field mowing hay, spreading manure, pulling wagons and plowing, and in their stalls at the barn for a chance to get to know them.
All types of equine will be sold, from 1-ton draft horses, to miniature horses and every size in between.
There also will be a petting zoo, face painting, dummy steer roping, barbecue and vendors.
