If you 're looking for some good books to read while sitting on your porch or dock, or if you're looking for some great buys for your personal library collection, the Westlake Library book sale on May 3-4 is the place to be.
The sale, which will be held at the library at Westlake Towne Center from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Friday, and from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday, will feature almost-new, slightly used and used books. Hardbacks will be $2 each, large trade paperbacks will be $1 each, and pocket-sized paperbacks will be 50 cents each.
Buyers are encouraged to come early for the best selection. Prices will be reduced by 50 percent beginning at noon on Saturday.
The sale is being organized by the Westlake Library Capital Campaign Committee and the Westlake Library volunteers. Funds raised will go to the capital campaign to help purchase books, DVDs, CDs and other items for the library.
