An SML resident received two awards at the 2013 Quilts in the Country show earlier this month in Lexington. The show was sponsored by the Rockbridge Pieceworkers Quilt Guild.
Donald Bruce of Hardy earned first place in the Hand Quilted Large category for “My Hawaiian Quilt”; and second place in the Machine Quilted Large category, with “Serenity.”
