Bruce Reichelderfer, a Moneta resident, gave a presentation on airships, including blimps and dirigibles, at the April 23 meeting of Bedford’s American Legion Post 54.
Reichelderfer, whose father was the executive officer at the Lakehurst Naval Air Station in New Jersey, witnessed as a young boy the disaster that struck the Hindenburg dirigible on May 6, 1937.
