Bob Jones University Dean’s List

Jacob Chisom of Bedford and Kayla Payne of Moneta are among the more than 1,500 students included on the Dean’s List for having a 3.0 GPA during the spring semester.

University of Mary Washington graduates

The following area students were among 1,273 students graduating from the University of Mary Washington on May 11: Mary T. W. Ball of Goodview graduated with highest distinction with a B.S. in psychology; Ann Carroll of Forest graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in psychology; Catherine Mohr of Forest, B.A. in English; and Romadon M. Stovall of Vinton, B.S. in business administration.

Randolph College graduates

The following students graduated from Randolph College in Lynchburg on May 12: Stephen Allman of Goodview, B.A. in physics; Andrew Jobe of Forest, B.A. in history; and Samantha Sublett of Vinton, B.A. in sociology.

Randolph College Dean’s List

Stephen Allman of Goodview, Olivia Groff of Bedford and Lauren Mason of Bedford were named to the Dean’s List.

The Citadel Dean’s List

Mark Allman of Goodview has been named to the Dean’s List at The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina, for academic achievement during the spring semester. To qualify, students must have a GPA 3.2 or higher with no grade below a C.

Mary Baldwin Honor Society

Stephen Jackson of Forest and Carrie McCrary of Bassett were inducted into Kappa Delta Pi, an international honor society that is dedicated to scholarship and excellence in education. Requirements for membership are a 3.5 GPA for undergraduates and a 3.8 for graduate students.

College of William and Mary Dean’s List

Amy Green, Alice Perrin and Cody Sigmon, all of Boones Mill, and Alyssa Melchers of Vinton were named to the Dean’s List for the spring semester.

Radford University Dean’s List

The following students, who have taken 15 or more credit hours, have a GPA of 3.4 or above and no grade below a C, were named to the Dean’s List: Lauren Addie Farmer, Leah Grace Millender, Samuel Jennings Carr, Danielle Elisabeth Gawlik, Cheri Dawn Morton, Jessica Lynn Reed and Brook Tyler Reeves, all of Moneta; Nicole Lester of Wirtz; and John Dennis Godward of Thaxton.
