The Roanoke Times is an award-winning daily newspaper in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. We pride ourselves on a collegial newsroom that has become a national leader in integrating online and multimedia reporting into our print journalism. Check out some of our recent multimedia projects.
This intern position requires a mix of hard news and features. This candidate will cover breaking news and generate story ideas for features and news follows, and work on long-range projects while juggling daily commitments.
We work in a team environment with other reporters, editors and photographers.
