Grab your dancing shoes and head out to Big Island for a weekend of music. FiddleFest

All Nations Green Corn Festival Gathering and Powwow

Learn something new by celebrating American Indian heritage with a special appearance of the POW-MIA-KIA Traveling Memorial, demonstrations, American Indian arts and crafts, food and storytelling. Traditionally, a powwow is attended only by American Indians, but this is a gathering for anyone. The Green Corn Festival has been a celebration of renewal since ancient times, and proceeds from this year's event will benefit the Wolf Creek Indian Village and Museum. Noon today, 9 a.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. Sunday. $5, general; $3, ages 4 to 16, seniors and veterans. Bland County Fairgrounds. (276) 688-3438.
