LAST MISSION: FloydFest

This photo is a little blurry, but we liked that Erin Strulson (right) of Roanoke and Trish Dials of Floyd gave Sam Bush an "I'm Bushed" T-shirt.

Erin, who attends graduate school at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, wrote in an e-mail:

"It felt amazing to go home to the mountains, drive a short way down the road and arrive at FloydFest to hear my favorite music/bands and see old friends. As a first-time attendee, the music far exceeded my expectations, the energy was high and the fun never ceased."

Mae Humiston of Fairfield wrote: "I went to my second FloydFest this year (and of course slept a little, danced a lot and had an amazing time)."

Mae sent us a few photos with her friends, including this one of them dancing to the Hackensaw Boys on Saturday.
