Blue Ridge Southwest Virginia Vision Film Festival
Vinton-native David Huddleston, Patricia Neal
come to the Roanoke Valley for film smorgasbord
Featuring: Workshops, film premiers and guest stars David Huddleston and Patricia Neal.
Who's David Huddleston? The Vinton native was Emmy-nominated for his work in the television series "The Wonder Years" and his most notable film role was as the Big Lebowski in "The Big Lebowski."
Who's Patricia Neal? Her resume includes an Academy Award for "Hud" and roles in "Breakfast at Tiffany's," "The Subject Was Roses" and the TV-film "The Homecoming," which led to "The Waltons" series.
Another notable guest: Nick Glennie-Smith, who will receive the first Vision Film Festival Award for Musical Excellence, was a composer for soundtracks including "Man Behind the Iron Mask" and "We Were Soldiers."
