Home: Roanoke

Age: 36

Sign: Scorpio

Occupation: Building manager for Patrick Henry High School and owner of Leon Evans Landscaping.

About Leon: A fun-loving, hard-working, sports-minded father of two teenage girls, Manisha and Ashley.

General interests: Coaching high school football and traveling. He's an amusement park and snow tubing aficionado.

Where you're most likely to find him: He's often too busy to make it out much, but when he does, you're likely to find him downtown at Corned Beef & Co. or out in the Valley View area at TGI Friday's, O'Charley's or Applebee's.

Leon's routine when he goes out: His daughters usually stay with their cousins, and his friends come over to his place to reap the benefits of his bar, 65-inch big screen TV and extensive DVD collection.

How long he's been single: 3 years

Pro of single life: It's easier to stay active and get things done.

Con of single life: It's lonely, and he misses having a female companion whom he can just sit and talk with.

Whom he'd like to meet: A fun-seeking lady who likes to travel and wants to see other places besides Roanoke.

How he rates Roanoke's single life on a scale of 1 to 5: 3

Why? There's a limited number of places for single people to go and he's had a hard time finding motivated, down-to-earth women.

Best date in Roanoke: Dinner at a nice restaurant such as 419 West followed by a late-night movie.

Worst date in Roanoke: He can't think of anyplace he wouldn't enjoy.

How to approach Leon: He's shy; therefore, he appreciates a woman who can approach him with respect and confidence.
