For a couple of decades, Roanoke's own Dave Hartman has been standing up behind his drum kit, bashing the solid beats for Southern Culture on the Skids. As the band releases its latest CD, "Countrypolitan Classics" (Yep Roc), we talked with Hartman by phone while he walked Chopper, a neighbor's dog. Hear what he had to say about the new disc, and hear some song samples.
