The Antikythera Device is the brainchild of Troy James Gatrell, who writes, performs and produces all the music found on his recordings. He'll need a band tonight, though, when he plays at La Finca, in downtown Roanoke. Get more info about that show in Top Tickets.

Gatrell, 17, is a William Byrd High School senior. He plans to leave for Florida sometime after graduation to attend a sound engineering and recording school.
