      Robert Jospe & Inner Rhythm with Royce Campbell

      Jefferson Center’s great Jazz Club lineup continues with drummer/percussionist/composer Jospe, a jazz instructor at the University of Virginia. His band includes Campbell, a guitarist with a big, warm tone who has performed with artists including the late singer Mel “The Velvet Fog” Torme and iconic drummer Jimmy Cobb.

      Darrell Scott

      With Corey Hunley

      Remember The Dixie Chicks’ “Long Time Gone”? Sara Evans’ “Born to Fly”? Garth Brooks’ “When No One’s Around”? Scott wrote all of those songs. The scary part is that he’s probably a better musician than he is a songwriter. Opening act Hunley is a Roanoke favorite with good songs and picking skills of his own.
