TONIGHT
The Seed Reunion Show
With The Materia Project
Just a couple of years back, The Seed was funking up Roanoke and thereabouts with some solid reggae grooves. The act went separate ways, with leaders Gabe "The Ambassador" Lewis (vocals, guitar) heading to San Diego and drummer Brent Hoskins moving to Philadelphia. On New Year's Eve, the band gives its Roanoke fans a holiday gift -- a reunion show, possibly the last one it will play, Hoskins says.
Opening act The Materia Project is building its own thing in town with a funky, progressive-rock mix.
