Joe Biden vs. Sarah Palin
Gov. Sarah Palin and Sen. Joe Biden squared off in a long anticipated debate Oct. 2. Between them, they spoke over 15,000 words. But what did they say, and how often? What were their favorite words? Below are two "word clouds," one for each candidate generated from the text of their remarks during the debate. There's also a third that allows you to compare side-by-side how often each candidate used a word or phrase. The more often a word was spoken, the larger it appears. Scroll over a word to get a few examples of the word in the context in which it was used. You can also toggle from individual words to two word phrases. And you can search for particular words.
